Reduce.Reuse.Recycle workshop in Kosovo
‘Reduce. Reuse. Recycle’ workshop united 22 young people from all around Kosovo to learn about practical ways to live an environmentally-sound, sustainable and minimalistic, almost zero waste, life.
For 3 days, together with lecturer/facilitator Anna Chashchyna, students learned about and applied some of 3R practices, analyzed best worldwide practices, crafted projects with reused trash collected around the city and pitched their eco-projects created on spot during the event.
Students had a chance to rethink their daily routine practices, reshape their attitudes. Everybody left with broader knowledge & more inspiration, new friendships & fresh ideas, and most importantly with commitment & courage to reduce, reuse and recycle as much as possible - for a greener Kosovo and safer planet.
After all, we are all in the same boat here, right?
Certificates were distributed to all young environmentalists who successfully participated and contributed to the workshop.
Special thanks goes to Keep It Green NGO, U.S. Embassy Pristina, Kosovo, KUSA & American Corner Pristina who made it possible for to implement the project.
Sharing is caring. Ecognize is always happy to do both. Even though the event is over, the spirit of creativity and environmentalism is forever alive.
Till next time, Kosovo!
